Concept
This modular typeface is made up of a selection of road markings which come together to show a fully functioning road recognised by the Highway Code within each character, some are even inspired by existing roads across the UK. A range of lines and more abstract markings have been used in these designs including yellow edge lines, white centre lines (both solid & dashed), give way lines, parking bays and direction arrows. The 'Road Map' typeface as a whole can give new drivers a better understanding of how real roads work and what they can expect to see on their travels.
